“The Resolutions of Jonathan Edwards” Poster

Jonathan Edwards - Resolutions

This beautiful, glossy, UV coated poster (24″x36″) features the 70 “Resolutions of Jonathan Edwards” – the great American preacher, philosopher, and Protestant theologian. (b.1703-d.1758).

Written between 1722 and 1723 as a very young man, these resolutions are Edwards personal convictions for living a life that is glorifying to God.

In his diary, Edwards explained that the key to his own spiritual vitality was not merely making these resolutions, but rather his full dependence on God’s Spirit and His grace. Though that dependence was paramount in his life, Edwards didn’t take a passive role. In his Resolution number six, he dedicates himself to living very intentionally: “Resolved, to live with all my might, while I do live.”

All Christians would do well to strive toward the lifestyle produced by emulating these thoughtful resolutions as set forth by Jonathan Edwards, as they walk resting in God’s mercy and grace.

A great gift for any pastor, theologian, seminary student, church worker or missionary!

NOTE: There is no “Vertigo” watermark on the actual poster.
